Welcome to The Home Page for The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts, Escambia County Alabama and the surrounding area's largest all-volunteer organization supporting the development of performing and visual arts.

It is the commitment of GECA to support and develop a love of and talent for the arts in all its various forms in the South Alabama and Northwest Florida region.  It is our further commitment to make available family-friendly opportunities to participate in the production of, and enjoyment of live theatre experiences.  With a commitment to professionalism in all endeavors, GECA has built a reputation for first class performances.  We currently have an active talent pool of more than 100 performers, trained and untrained, who give their time and talents freely year round.  This number does not include the dozens of other skilled artists and craftsmen who share their abilities behind the scenes to support the performers on stage.  GECA continues to represent quality on and off the stage.

If you wish to contribute to the efforts GECA is making in the Escambia County area, you may do so by clicking on the Donate button.  It is convenient and safe, and it will all be used to support the arts in the Escambia County area.  We exist because people like you care.
